Hull East and Bransholme Neighbourhood Policing Teams were joined by in-house drone pilots and Op Yellowfin officers to conduct a ‘day of action’ tackling anti social behaviour (ASB) involving nuisance vehicles yesterday (Wednesday, 29 July 2026).
Six vehicles including two motorbikes and four off-road bikes were seized.
As part of this day of action a man was spotted riding on a pit bike on Exeter Grove in Hull, and when stopped by officers, was reported for driving without insurance, driving without a licence, and failing to display a rear registration plate.
A moped was then seen on Fulford Grove where a 23-year-old man was arrested and has since been charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owners consent, driving without due care and attention, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, and fraudulent use of a registration plate. He has been remanded into custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court at a later date.
Officers also proactively targeted areas around Longhill playing fields, and Dorchester Road, but on this occasion, the suspects managed to get away.

“Action like this is daily business for our teams across the force, however, days of action enable us to bring resources from different specialist departments together to tackle reports and concerns raised by members of the public and communities.
“We will continue to take action against those who think it’s okay to cause anti social behaviour and put other road users and members of the public at risk, and would urge anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity or if you have concerns around these kinds of riders in your area, please speak to your local policing officers when you see them out and about.”
