Hull parking machines add contactless option

Parking machines operated by Hull City Council, both on-street and in council-owned car parks, are being replaced or upgraded to include contactless payments.

Drivers will still have the ability to pay with existing options, including cash, telephone, online, or the MiPermit app.

The first machines have been upgraded on Paragon Street, Albion Street, and Hall Street with work continuing across the city. All machines are expected to be fully operational by the end of the summer.

This work is being carried out on behalf of the council by International Parking Systems UK, a leading provider of smart parking technology and integrated payment solutions.

This work affects car parks operated by Hull City Council, where you can find out more details about them here

Motorists using car parks operated by private companies are urged to check details of their payment methods before parking.
