Eden Camp Modern History Museum near Malton is to host an All Services Parade honouring veterans and service members on Sunday 13th September.
The museum gates will open at 10am, with free admission offered to current serving members of HM’s Forces, veterans, members of the Emergency Services, civilian organisations supporting HM Forces, members of the Royal British Legion (RBL), and other military veterans’ associations, organisations, or charities.
The highlight of the day will be the All Services Parade at 2.25pm. The parade will feature the Yorkshire Volunteers Marching Band, followed by Standards, Veterans, and Cadet Forces. The parade will cover a distance of approximately 250 metres.
A solemn Service of Remembrance will follow. During this service, the Standards will be dipped as the Last Post is sounded, and a Minute’s Silence will be observed.
